Major Accomplishment

Today (well... actually yesterday because this is being written at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, September 15th)- but anywho... I met with Mrs. Latreese Cooke of MEELJ. It was an awesome and inspiring meeting! I must admit I had to e-mail her the original questions I had written down to ask her during the interview. The interview for class, culminated in a volunteer position for ME!! It was AWESOME to listen to someone speak as passionately about what she does, as I feel about what I want to do in my career field. I had a chance to see a little of what she does on a daily basis and although I know it is hard work, it is rewarding also. This has truly been a blessing and I look forward to working with the staff at MEEELJ. Thanks Barry!!!
